Clinic Policies

Booking and Cancellation Policy

Marius Veterinary Clinic values the trust you place in us to care for your beloved pets. We are committed to providing the best service in a timely manner, and value being upfront about all associated costs. To ensure we can continue providing exceptional service to all new and existing clients and patients, please see our Booking and Cancellation policies below, effective from August 1 2025.


BOOKINGS

Appointments: New clients only - A $50 deposit will be required at time of booking to secure your appointment.

Surgeries, Dental Procedures and Sedations: All clients are required to pay a $100 deposit at least 48 hours (2 business days) in advance to secure your booking.

All booking deposits and fees will be used towards cost of services provided, however are non-refundable in the case of late cancellations or failure to attend. Please see cancellation policy below:


CANCELLATIONS

Appointments: Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours (1 business day) in advance. Late cancellations or failure to attend will forfeit any booking deposit made and in order to reschedule the estimated cost of the appointment must be pre-paid in full at time of booking. Any outstanding balance, if applicable, is to be paid at time of service.

Surgeries, Dental Procedures and Sedations: Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours (2 business days) in advance. Late cancellations or failure to attend will forfeit the $100 booking deposit, and in order to reschedule the estimated cost of the procedure must be pre-paid in full at time of booking. Any outstanding balance, if applicable, is to be paid in full at time of discharge.


LATE ARRIVALS

If you arrive late for your appointment, we may only have the remaining time of your scheduled appointment available for you. If more time is required you may be asked to reschedule your appointment, in which case the appointment cancellation policy will apply (see above).

Payment: Marius Veterinary Clinic requires payment in full at time of service. We accept Visa and Mastercard credit and debit cards, Vetpay, Zippay and cash. Please note unfortunately we are not able to accept American Express.


Reminder: Our team consists of dedicated professionals who are committed to providing the best care for you and your pets. We ask that all clients treat our staff with respect at all times. We have a zero-tolerance policy for profanity, verbal threats, bullying or any other form of violence or aggression towards our staff or other clients. Such behaviour will not be tolerated, and we reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who violates this policy.

The above policies have become necessary to help us cover the cost of preparation and staffing, and to allow us to offer available times to other patients in need. We do understand that unexpected situations may arise, and will always do our best to remain flexible where possible. Please don’t hesitate to discuss your needs with our friendly team so we can do our best to accommodate you and your pet.
